Best Gaming Computer

What up gamers!  Lets start with less QQ and stepping up our game.  I love hearing people talk it up about their PK skillz, but is it all just skillz?  Come on…I honestly believe it it is about 30% Skillz, 60% best gaming computer, and 10% luck/lag!

Bottom line is playing your game on the best gaming computer will increase your game like a turbine engine does a jet over a propeller plane.  The problem is, who has the time to review all the best gaming PC websites, hope the review is true, and then spend the $$’s!

No one has that type of time, so I figure I just make one stop shop, for a true gamer’s review of the best gaming computer.

I gonna be checking in on the best gaming computer, parts, accessories, and everything a hardcore gamer needs to game.

I also wanna hear from the gamer’s out there a no bullshit review of all the above stuff comment on my reviews and junk.

Can you please be specific about what RAM and graphics card i should get? other stuff like that cause i have no idea what to get.

Join the forum here,

and these guys can walk you through a computer build.
You basically get ripped off if you buy a computer off of the store shelf.
The guys who built my computer used this site as a reference.
Decide on a budget, do a theoretical build, and post it on this forum for it to be critiqued. They won’t steer you wrong, and you’ll get a far bigger bang for your buck.

and tell me if any of them is bad and tell me what should i get

i mainly play MMORPGs
and planing to get Cod4 and gta iv…
so will this be enough?

Won’t be anywhere near enough to run GTA4 well. May be able to run CoD4. It will be good enough to run most MMORGPs though. I’d suggest upgrading the CPU to a dual core. Everything else is a good average.

What is the best gaming computer?

I’m a big gamer and i have lots of computer games. However now my computer does not have the right graphics, processor, memory/space, for the game that i want to play. So i’m looking at some type of gaming computer, i really need it to have good graphics, fast processor, and lots and lots of memory.

well it all depends on your budget if you are really in to gaming and what the best out of a desktop and dont mind paying a alot for it i would have to suggest an alienware desktop but it would be better and cheaper to get an alienware laptop but if you want a great desktop for gaming and you are on a low budget than i would suggest getting a decent desktop and just and the thing you need like a better graphics card and more ram

but if you have a desktop that is running good just buy the things you need you can find them for pretty cheap except for processors those can get pretty pricey so basically for a good gaming computer all you need are these thing

atleast 1-2GB of ram but i reccomend 2-4GB of ram

a decent graphics card that has atleast half a gig to a gig of memory with discrete graphics try to avoid intergrated graphics cards is you can

320GB hard drive you go less but this will have you covered for downloading games as well as other things like music and movies and other stuff

and last but not least your processor just about any dua core processor that puts out 2.53GHz should be good i reccomend a intel processor but if you can find a decent amd processor you should be fine hope this helps

Need a good gaming computer. What is the cheapest but best one around?

Hello Everyone I would like to buy a desktop PC for gaming, but don’t want to pay any more than $3250. Do you know any good ones?

Please help me! I want to play Crysis!

In before some idiot says Alienware. Your best bet is to assemble it yourself or if you can’t be bothered I guess you can go to to a custom pc site like ibuypower or cyberpowerpc.

Pc Gaming: not Just for Couch Potatoes

PC gaming is not just for the couch potatoes. The great thrilling pc games are for everyone who wants to get a thrill moving the joystick and conquering the obstacles. Boys and young men who like to get some thrill and fun without getting their trousers dirty.

Well before there was pc gaming, young men used to go out into the fields playing football, climbing trees, jumping into rivers, rolling down slopes, climbing hills, heading brawls, and all the things that were normal fun for boys of a different generation.

Now the fights are usually conformed to pc gaming or gaming with game consoles for that matter. It seems girls are not as much interested in pc gaming as boys and men are. Or is it a discriminatory observation? Any way, most households can see boys spending time pc gaming, while girls spending their time in the kitchen, at the garden, before the TV, and filling their scrapbooks.

Video games, brick games, puzzle games, there isn’t a game category that is not available for PC gaming. The choices of PC gaming is endless and you can’t possibly try all the PC games available today. By the time you try a small percentage of games, the pc gaming industry would have expanded beyond your reach. Anyway, it is fun to spend hours and days before the pc, tying a new game and remaining unsuccessful cracking the final frontier after one month of toiling.

PC gaming is not always a one man affair. Sometimes it can be interactive too. With broadband internet becoming norm of the day, you can play high graphics games with your friend, who can be at Sydney or in Paris, just like would play face to face. You can get the thrills of challenging your friend, without having to feel embarrassed if defeated. Online interactive games go far beyond the online chess games available at hundreds of different websites.

You can find dozens (sometimes hundreds) of titles at your local mall, local computer centre and online. Free to download games, paid to download, and games available in DVDs and CDs, the world of pc gaming is quite fascinating one, you don’t ever have to play the same game more than you like to. If you are fed up with one game, just throw it away and there are dozens of others on the queue, vying for your attention.

Good graphics card, sound card, joy stick, etc are needed for pc gaming. The speed and memory of the computer also are important components of good gaming experience. Computers that support super speed games are in demand.

Reading this you might think pc gaming is a post 2000 phenomena. It is not. PC gaming has been around since 1960s. Spacewar! of 1961 is the first PC game. Several games have come and gone since then. The unfettered interest to pc gaming knows no bounds. It can’t be explained. Only people who spend time before their pc, gaming could understand what it means to be pc gaming.

How to Choose the Best Pc Gaming Headset

A good PC gaming headset is almost a must if you want to have the best gaming experience. Most games nowadays are embedded with high definition audio effects. To really enjoy the game and be in the game, a good gaming headset is necessary.

So what constitutes a good PC gaming headset?

Comfort

A good computer gaming headset must be able to provide comfort to the user. This is necessary since you will be wearing it for a long period of time. There is only one way to test whether a headset is comfortable or not, and that is to try it out before you make your purchase.

Most of the time, the comfort factor is dependent on the:

  • Padding – Is it thick and soft enough to protect your ear?
  • Ear cups – Is it big enough to contain your ear?
  • Headband – Is it freely adjustable to suit the size of your head?
  • Weight – Is it too heavy for your ear to carry?

Put it on for 15 minutes and you will know whether it is suitable for you or not.

Sound Quality

A good PC gaming headset must have the ability to produce great sound quality. While different people perceive sound differently, you can use these few guideline to distinguish a headset with good sound quality from a bad one.

Bass

A gaming headset with a powerful bass will show significant differences in first person shooting game such as Counterstrike. You will be able to hear clearly the bullets flying around you and distinct explosion in the background.

Surround Sound

Surround sound effect is necessary to create the realism in your gameplay. Those PC gaming headsets with 5.1 digital audio encoded will be useful to help you identify the enemy that is sneaking behind you or shooting at you

Noise Cancellation

Some gaming headset uses an external microphone to pick up external noise and invert them to cancel out any unwanted noise. This is extremely useful if you are always playing in a noisy environment, such as an Internet cafe.

Cable Length

The cable length will determine how far away you can stay behind the screen. A typical gaming headset should have a cable length of 2m. Anything shorter than this length will restrict your movement and cause inconvenience to you. If you are playing game console, such as Xbox or PS3, in your living room, you might consider getting a headset with longer cable or an extra extensible cable to connect to your headset.

Wireless Headset

If you always move around and do not wish to be bothered by the cable, you can choose the wireless gaming headset that makes use of Bluetooth or RF technology. A word of caution, wireless headsets might be more prone to noise interference and/or loss of signal during the transmission, which can lead to static, pops or annoying noise.

Microphone

Some of the PC gaming headsets are geared with a microphone to allow interaction during gameplay. This might be a useful feature that you want to include in your gaming headset.

Volume Control

This may seem a trivial feature, but it matter a lot when you are far away from your sound system. For a gaming headset with surround sound feature, it would be useful to have an inline volume control to control the individual speaker levels. You can customize the volume setting for each speaker to enhance your gaming experience.

Vibrator

Force feedback gaming headsets make use of vibration to try to recreate the physical sensation of bass frequencies. The headset can vibrate in sympathy with the low frequencies in the audio signal, so that listeners both hear and feel the bass.

These should sum up most of the features found in a good PC gaming headset.

In conclusion, choosing a good PC gaming headset can be a very personal thing. A headset might fit comfortably on others, but not on you. You will have to try out the headset before deciding whether it is suitable for you.

a good computer gaming desktop?

hay i’m 18 year’s old/male and i don”t know much about gaming computer’s and i would like someone to help me decide which computer would be a good for gaming and for normal use like, watch online videos, watch movies, use program’s like adobe after effects cs4 things like that.
i like to keep the price below $500/$450/400 around that with monitor and key bored if possible. please help me find a store to buy it from like frys, best buy, or dell.com
please tell me if i should just buy a dell desktop computer from dell.com and just buy a graphics card and add that to it??? i’am looking for a desktop computer???? tell me what brand i should buy??? i hear dell is the best, but i need someone with a gaming experience. please help me out. i like to play game’s like call of duty modern warfare stuff like that??? please give me full details not just like go do this or buy that please full details please????? thanks.

To be honest you wont be able to find a decent gaming computer for that. I built my computer (which is cheapest) spent $800. I highly suggest building one or getting someone to build it. My computer from dell would probably run me 2 grand. But I guess from your pre-built options dell is alright. I saw alienware mentioned here, they are very good but expensive. And now they have been taken over by dell so I’m pretty sure their going to loose their reputation as being a gaming leader.

My biggest recommendation is wait until you have more money.

i want to make a custom gaming pc what are some must haves for top performance and in general read belo?

so i need a list of components needed to complete a pc and then what u would recomend for whatever section

Wow, the other guy seems to think you have at least a few thousand to spare (if you do just buy one from alienware or some where that caters to gaming rigs)
Well if you want the latest and greatest would will likely need to spend at least $2,000
Assuming you know what these parts are, if you don’t you need to go down to best buy or something and ask some questions.
My list:
CPU (most important, brains of the computer)
i7 960 (you can go better look at the intel site in the sources)
Motherboard: P6T deluxe
Ram: 4gb look for ddr3 with good timings
Graphics: really anything over $500 dollars apiece like GTX 280s in SLI
HD: anything with 1tb of space Solid state is the best if you have the money and are fine with RAID config
blu-ray drive
Notes:You need to run this all by a professional if your doing this first time like best buy guys or something

Can we play Computer Games on Windows Vista 64bit OS? Is 64bit version of OS compatible for Gaming?

I’m using my PC specially for Gaming. I have Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit OS installed in my PC. But it cannot detect more than 3GB of RAM. So I’m in a thought of installing Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit OS. But i have a doubt will it be compatible for Gaming.

It depends whether the platform is compatible for 64x vista, check the box and it should say. However most newly updated/produced games will be compatible for this OS version, especially if it displays the "games for Windows" logo.
