i want to make a custom gaming pc what are some must haves for top performance and in general read belo?
so i need a list of components needed to complete a pc and then what u would recomend for whatever section
Wow, the other guy seems to think you have at least a few thousand to spare (if you do just buy one from alienware or some where that caters to gaming rigs)
Well if you want the latest and greatest would will likely need to spend at least $2,000
Assuming you know what these parts are, if you don’t you need to go down to best buy or something and ask some questions.
My list:
CPU (most important, brains of the computer)
i7 960 (you can go better look at the intel site in the sources)
Motherboard: P6T deluxe
Ram: 4gb look for ddr3 with good timings
Graphics: really anything over $500 dollars apiece like GTX 280s in SLI
HD: anything with 1tb of space Solid state is the best if you have the money and are fine with RAID config
blu-ray drive
Notes:You need to run this all by a professional if your doing this first time like best buy guys or something

My opinion – in order of importance to a good gaming rig.
Dual Nvidia video cards. That is a MUST.
a 64/128gb SSD boot drive with a 1.5gb gaming drive
CPU – Intel’s i7 with 12gb RAM (i5 CPU if you gotta save some money)
Monitor – at least 24" (actually go and look at them before you buy, everyone is slightly different in their likes and dislikes)
MB – Asus whenever possible
Strong power supply 750w or better
I still think Creative’s Soundblaster is the best for a sound card.
